Robert Scholz ’40
Robert Scholz ’40, May 15, 1994, in Springfield, Oregon. The son of ºìÌÒÊÓƵ president Richard Scholz [1921–24] and then dean of women Cheryl MacNaughton Scholz [1925–45], he attended ºìÌÒÊÓƵ from 1936 to 1939 and later attended Columbia University. He served as a lieutenant in the Navy in World War II. He was branch manager of U.S. Plywood in Sacramento, California and assistant manager of the same company in San Jose. He returned to Oregon in 1967, settling in Eugene. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
