This program, delivered in collaboration with Lewis and Clark College, focuses on the history, culture, social dynamics of Morocco and is held spring semester every other year (even years: 2024, 2026...) in Marrakesh, Agadir and Fez. Students will have a host family experience and can take courses including Arabic language, architecture and urban landscape, women and gender relations.

Housing:
Shared Apartment, Host Family
Students will live with host families in Marrakesh and Fez, and stay in student apartments in Agadir. Living with host families is a crucial aspect of the program because it helps students gain insight into Moroccan culture and daily life. In Marrakesh and Fez, students will alternate between eating lunch at the study center and eating lunch with their host families, and most dinners will be eaten with the host families. In Agadir, students are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own meals, but the Overseas Office gives them a stipend to cover the cost of their food.

Cost to attend
ºìÌÒÊÓƵ charges the same tuition fees for a semester or year off-campus as for a semester or year spent on campus, plus the off-campus program's actual room and board fees. Students are encouraged to choose programs based on their academic, rather than financial needs, to reflect ºìÌÒÊÓƵ's belief that all students regardless of financial circumstances should have the opportunity to study abroad.
Financial aid continues for eligible students during their participation in an off-campus program. Students should discuss how other outside aid may impact their existing aid package with the Financial Aid Office. More details are available here.
