Ana María Tudela Martínez (she/ella) is a visiting assistant professor of Spanish at ºìÌÒÊÓƵ. She received her BA in Hispanic Studies (Philology) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and completed her MA in Modern Languages (Spanish) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2026, she defended her PhD dissertation, titled La revolución de las monstruas: poéticas transfeministas en Argentina y Chile (1960-2020). This work delves into the surge of monstrous aesthetics in Contemporary Latin American literature, with a focus on the Southern Cone. Her research and teaching interests revolve around Latin American Literature (mostly contemporary), Decolonial and Transfeminist Theory, and Cultural Studies. She is the author of , an article that explores anti-archival practices in the Argentinian trans community. Ana is currently working on diverse and monstrous projects.
